The 2025 Community Development grants have been awarded.
For 2025:
City of Vesta-$1500 towards the community center sidewalk, mural, and chairs
Lucan Lions Club-$1300 towards the Lucan softball field expansion
Wanda Community Center/Legion-$15,000 towards community center repair
As you visit these communities, use the facilities and see the updates the Five Star Community Foundation have helped the organizations accomplish, please take the time to thank the volunteers who did the work and put in the hours, visit our site and get to know the Foundation and ask how you can help grow the Foundation.
To date, we have granted over $333,000 to organizations in the Five communities of Lucan, Seaforth, Vesta, Wabasso, and Wanda
This includes $4000 in scholarships to the Wabasso High School senior class each year.
