ATTN: Water Tower Maintenance on Tuesday, August 18th.

On Tuesday, August 18th beginning at 8:00 a.m. the Public Works Department will be performing maintenance to the water tower, which will require it to be taken offline. Water will remain on during this time; however, we ask that you limit usage so that system pressure can be held. Work is expected to be completed by early afternoon.

Full Time Maintenance Worker

The City of Wabasso is seeking applicants for a full time Maintenance Worker. The Maintenance Worker is an appointed position who will assist the Public Works Director with the overall operations of the Public Works Department including snow plowing, tree trimming and community center cleaning. Day shift – Monday through Friday with every other weekend on call.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma
• Class D Driver’s License
• General knowledge of the use of hand tools
• Ability to operate tractor, street sweeper, and snowplow

SALARY: $25.00/hr. Depending on Qualifications
BENEFITS: Vacation, ESST, Holidays and State retirement match for full-time employment, Group Health, Dental and Vision insurance.

Attn: Watering Restrictions

Effective Thursday, July 30th, 2026, lawn watering is limited to odd/even address days. No watering is permitted between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Some exemptions may apply for newly seeded lawns, hand watering and others.

-Mandatory restriction s start Thursday, July 30, 2026
-Even addresses water on even-numbered days
-Odd addresses water on odd-numbered days
-No watering 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

These restrictions are necessary to reduce peak water demand in areas served by the City water system and will remain in effect until further notice.
