Youth Development in Action! 🌟
Over the past few months, the Student Leadership Team at Abram Lansing Elementary School has been hard at work on a project focused on healthy choices, creativity, and real-world skills. 4-H and Nutrition Educators from CCE worked alongside school staff to help students strengthen their leadership skills while learning about nutrition and wellness.
The students proudly showcased the culmination of their hard work at the Cohoes City School District Mental Health & Wellness Fair with posters and a presentation. We are so proud of their hard work!!👏

June 6th is National Trails Day! 🥾Get outside and explore a local nature trail. 🌿Make sure to leave the trail like you found it (or better!) Respect wildlife and observe from a distance, dispose of trash that you make and that you find, leave the plants alone for the wildlife that needs them, and leave only your footprints. Happy exploring!🔎

🎉Congratulations🎉 to Albany County 4-H member Lizzy on her first-place presentation in the 2026 NYS 4-H Horse Communications Contest! As a result of her hard work, Lizzy will be advancing to the National Competition in November where she will continue to showcase her horse knowledge along with her public speaking skills.
