At Storytime this week...
"Had a fun morning at Storytime. We read The Napping House and King Bidgoods in the Bathtub. They we sang a song called “When I build my house” which is a fun active song that you have to following the directions on building a house. Then we built a structure with wood scraps and painted it with water colors."🔨

🐻"Hello, we had 12 kiddos today which includes 3 new ones! We read Wide-Awake and Ten in the Bed. We sang 5 in the bed with rhythm sticks - they did great- and flannel graph to go with the song. We made a bear puppet from a lunch bag painted with a fork. The kids did great all around! They are growing up!!" 🐻 Join us on Wednesdays at 10:30!

"We had 5 kids at Storytime today! We read The Firefly with No Glow, Pete the Scardy Cat and Bambi. We made a firefly out of recycled soda bottles and a glow stick. We had a lot of fun with our friends today!"

"It was a busy morning at Storytime today. We had 14 kids and 2 babies. We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Pete The Cat and the Cool Caterpillar & Mercer Mayer's Our Friend Sam. We made Caterpillars from coffee filters and a clothes pins. We had a lot of fun making our butterflies!"🐛 🦋

🐞"We had a lot of fun at Storytime. I had a helper today. Her name is Bri and she is a high school graduate who was doing her community service at the library... We had 9 kids with us today. We read The Grouchy Ladybug, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Eats Breakfast and Pete The Cat Hickory, Dickory, Dock. Then we painted clay ladybugs bright colors and counted up to 12 like they did in the Grouchy Ladybug book. Brianna told me that next week will be Caroline's last week...she'll be attending preschool. We will miss her. We had a couple of new kids and their moms. I hope you all had a great day!" 🐞

So much fun at Storytime this week!!

"We read Chicka Chicka 1,2,3. Sang 5 Dinosaurs Went Out to Play and 5 Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. We did two projects, we glued pom poms on a paper corresponding to the number in the box and colored and apple tree. The book had numbers climbing and apple tree☺️."

At Storytime, "We read Babies in the Bayou and See you Later Alligator. In celebration of America's 250th, we made sparklers out of cellophane and straws. The cutting was challenging, some summer off the older kids persevered! We ended with singing 5 Little monkeys swinging in the tree. Thanks Trish for bringing the story glove! The kids loved taking turns removing one monkey at a time with Mr Crocodile went SNAP!" 🐊
