This year’s Reflections Art Program is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and it’s waiting for your entry!

Theme for 2018-19 school year:

“Heroes Around Us”

RBV Due Date: Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018

Reflections is the annual National PTA arts showcase and competition that offers you an exciting opportunity to SHARE YOUR TALENTS in the areas of:

 Dance Choreography
 Literature (Story writing/poetry, etc...)
 Photography
 Film production
 Music Composition
 Visual Arts (On canvas, or 3-d creations)

Have you been looking for a good excuse to show off your skills? Here's your chance! This year's Reflections theme is “Heroes Around Us”. What is a real hero, according to you? Who in your life stands out in your mind when you hear
the word, “hero”? How would you share your thoughts with us using the media above?

Entry forms and instructions can be printed from the PTSA section of RBV's website (https://rbvptsa.org/), or obtained in Room 338 (Mr. Disney), and must be included with each piece of artwork to the marked box in Room 338 by October 3rd.

For general information, guidelines, and rules about the program, and to see the art of last year's winners, go to: http://capta.org/programs-events/reflections/

We can't wait to see, hear, and experience what you make! With permission, your art work will be displayed on school grounds, and participants can be eligible for PTA scholarships. Winners go on to compete at higher levels, up to nationals.

For more details, or to have a Spanish or English printable entry form emailed directly to you, please contact Marie Hayes at: [email protected] or text/call: (760) 521-5741.
