Straddling California's eastern San Joaquin Valley and the western ranges of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Tulare County Library serves all the citizens of Tulare County. The Library has branch libraries in seventeen communities. It's time for more Tech Help! Join us on Thursday, June 11 and June 25 from 11am-1pm for assistance! Read below to learn more.

Tech Help Drop-In sessions to provide technology help for patrons with their personal devices.

During these session staff can assist with the following:
· Basic computer operations (navigating the keyboard, clicking, etc.)
· Searching the internet and accessing websites
· Establishing and navigating email (creating, sending, attaching files, sending, etc.)
· Basic cell phone operations (calling, texting, downloading apps, etc.)
· Using Library resources including Libby and other eResources
· Accessing Kindle and other tablet devices
· Basic introductions to Google drive and Microsoft office.

*Staff cannot assist with specialized programs, for example Python, Photoshop, or SQL, or advanced Excel, Access, Publisher, or Word functions, operating systems, purchasing items, or the handling of personal information.

*Expertise for some devices and software may not be available at all times.

Patrons can either make an appointment or walk in for assistance with their device.

This year we’re reading "They Called Us Enemy" by George Takei, a powerful graphic memoir exploring patriotism, family, identity, and what it means to be American. Pick up a copy from your local Tulare County Library branch today, while supplies last.
