Assistance League of Visalia

Assistance League of Visalia Purpose: To act as a friend at any and all times to men, women and children in need of care, guidance and assistance, spiritually, materially and physically.

Philanthropic programs are selected by members based on the needs of our community. Philanthropies:
Operation School Bell - Provides new clothing and a hygiene kit to elementary school students. Referrals are made through school site staff. The Kids on the Block - Large puppets are used to put on performances for elementary students. Scripts address social issues such as bullying, drugs, respect

and handicapped people. Fifty Sense - Large colorful maps of the United States are painted on school campuses. Rainbow Reading - Members read with 1st and 2nd graders at Washington School. Le Bag - Members provide hygiene kits, which are given to students on an as-needed basis by the school staff.

The start of the Operation Literacy First Book Fundraiser with dd's DISCOUNTShas begun 🙌

Do your back-to-school shopping and donate dollars the kids with Operation Literacy can get brand new books from for the new school year. 📚

The dd's Store at 1925 N. Dinuba, Visalia will be collecting donations through
8/30.

So happy shopping and thanks for the help!
