We're starting to gear up (literally) for our Kids and Cops on Ice event. Deputy Roesler was able take a generous donation from the Rockton Sportsman's Club (Rockton Bar) and with the help from Fleet Farm Winona to stretch that donation a little further get ice fishing poles, buckets, tents, and some other supplies. This means any kid who participates regardless of experience or equipment is able to fish!
Thank you to everyone who makes this event possible. More details to come!

Sheriff Torgerson would like to thank the James P. Bigley Foundation for the generous donation to the Vernon County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit Program. We are so thankful that you chose us as one of your many ways to carry on the legacy of James "Phil" Bigley. This is a stark reminder of how Mr. Bigley cared for our community.
