Village of Virginia Gardens 🚲💙
Last week, the Village of Virginia Gardens was proud to serve as the starting point for Blessed Trinity Catholic School’s Middle School Bike to School Ride, organized by Student Council President Brooke.
What began in Virginia Gardens became a wonderful morning filled with big smiles, school spirit, and community connection as students, parents, school officials, teachers, and residents rode together to school.
A special thank you to VGPD Chief Ray Hernandez for helping direct traffic and ensure everyone arrived safely. His support helped make the morning a tremendous success.
This special ride highlighted the importance of exercise, bicycle safety, and community—and was a great reminder of what makes Virginia Gardens so special.
We also want to recognize Brooke for her leadership and initiative in organizing such a meaningful event. We’re excited to hear conversations are already underway to bring this event back monthly beginning with the 2026–2027 school year this August.
They say it takes a village… and moments like this are a beautiful reminder that ours truly is one of the best. 💙✨

A very special thank you to Chief Hernandez for being on hand to direct traffic and help keep our students safe. Thanks to Officers Fierro and Otero for their support throughout the event and always.
We also loved seeing Mrs. Fierro join the ride on her bike! ⭐️
