Excited to be bringing better connectivity to Virginia City and Gold Hill, and eventually all of Storey County. Many thanks to our partners at Churchill County Communications, Rural Innovation Concepts and Google for helping us get this done quickly and at a fraction of the cost of other options.

Connection opportunities will roll out for businesses and residents over the next year, and we expect to be completed around November of 2025.

Received my ballot yesterday. Sample Ballots should arrive next week! This is an important election… please let us know if we can help you get your vote in, or answer questions about this election!

The 2024 General Election is underway! County residents should receive their Mail Ballots this week.

Mail Ballots MUST be postmarked by Election Day, Tuesday, November 5th, via USPS, or dropped off at a County Polling Place or the Storey County Clerk’s Office by the close of polls on Election Day.

Oh man… not again! It must be the hot weather that makes people do crazy things. This happened 4 years ago when I was running, to a sign up in Lockwood.

Since I didn’t want people to NOT recognize me at election time, I grew a “Van Dyke” (the proper name for this facial hair style, so that I looked like my sign.

I’ll link the results in the comments… Might have to do it again.

It was great to see the hardest working Lt. Governor in the country, Stavros Anthony Nevada Lieutenant Governor.

He was chairing a meeting of the state Advisory Committee on Outdoor Recreation, which held their meeting at historic Piper's Opera House in Virginia City before taking a walking tour of the town.

Keep up the good work, Lieutenant Governor!

We won't have final final numbers for a week or more, but we look to be holding strong at 65% of the vote in preliminary tallies. Thank you to everyone who has supported the campaign in one way or another, and for those who trusted me with their vote. I couldn't have done it without your support.

Silver State Election

I've received a variety of endorsements this election cycle, all of which I appreciate. Some I sought out, others found me. Some came with contributions, others did not. Professional associations, elected officials, companies, even the building and construction trades council.

One that really means a lot to me is the endorsement from Nevada's Lt. Governor, Stavros Anthony. I won't pretend that we're "best buds", but our work has brought us in contact many times.

The office of Lt. Governor is often seen as a figurehead, part time position. But not with this Lt. Governor... he is EVERYWHERE! Anything related to his official duties (things like tourism, outdoor recreation, business development) - he or his staff is omnipresent, and making things happen. He may just be the hardest working state official out there, and I find that admirable.

I'm pleased to have his support in my re-election bid.
