In May, during National Foster Care Awareness Month, our team had the privilege of connecting with families at a local church and sharing the reality of foster care in our community.

Many people are surprised to learn how many children need safe, supportive homes and how fostering can look very different than they imagined.

What if one conversation could change a child's future?

We met so many caring individuals who asked questions, shared their hearts, and wanted to learn more about what it means to support children and families in need.

Foster care isn't about being perfect. It's about being willing.

To every mother figure in our Families First community, foster moms, adoptive moms, kinship caregivers, biological moms working hard toward reunification, grandmothers, mentors, and the women who step in with love when children need it most - today, we celebrate you. 💚

Motherhood is not defined by perfection.
It’s found in the late nights, the hard conversations, the endless appointments, the second chances, the packed lunches, the reassuring hugs, and the unwavering choice to keep showing up.

Some mothers give life.
Some mothers help rebuild it.
And some mothers become the safe place a child never knew they needed.

Today we honor the strength, sacrifice, patience, and unconditional love that changes lives every single day. Thank you for opening your hearts, your homes, and your arms to children and families in need.
