TechNite celebrates the people and organizations driving innovation across Hampton Roads, from startups and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, local governments, and universities. This year's event will take place on Thursday, October 29, from 5 PM to 8 PM at The Dome by Rutter Mills.

We’re excited to partner with University to bring an Entrepreneurship Workshop to The HIVE in Virginia Beach!

If you’ve ever thought about starting a business—or are ready to take your idea further—this hands-on workshop will guide you through the essentials of entrepreneurship, including idea generation, business planning, startup fundamentals, and funding strategies.

Participants will also gain valuable insight from instructor Tracy Lamar-Ray and build practical skills to help turn ideas into real ventures. Plus, those who complete the program will earn a microcredential and electronic badge from Batten University.
