REMINDER: Join the ORPHANetwork FB page at 430EST - 545PM Today for a FB live concert performed by children from four of the orphanages who have been thriving in the music program. It has been over 10 years of hard work since a group of 3 of us went down and one of the HOLA board members asked why there was no music. Then he took action. Then the children and staff took action and it was the perfect formula.
We found a great teacher after going through several and as you will see it has become one of the biggest success stories in Nicaragua. Look at the instruments and how well they take care of them. Look at the passion, pride, and fulfillment music gives the children! We have big plans for the future not just with this group, but with the entire country. We will have a large concert for free at the Dennis Martinez Stadium! We have a group of talented students here in Hampton Roads raising money for this program and working with several famous singers to make this happen! We will not tell all the secrets and remember Today is a big day for them. Any donations Today will be sent directly to contributing to this music program. We have HOLA staff going down next week if anyone has instruments to donate! Enjoy and thank you to everyone who made this happen.
