Congratulations Detachment Little Creek!
2024 was a challenging year. Detachment Little Creek continuously pushed their systems and capabilities. The team fought to repair and maintain their systems, remaining fully mission capable, and ready for tasking. Due to the efforts of the DET, Commander, Unmanned Undersea Vehicle Group ONE presented DET LC the Manned-Unammaned Teaming "U", as well as DET LC's first Repair "R", from the 2024 COMSUBPAC Battle Efficiency Awards.

Congratulations STS1 Ryan Perdew, STS2 Chris Burgio and RWC Corey Hill!

Commander, Unmanned Undersea Vehicle Group ONE awarded these sailors Spot Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.

While on travel to conduct IPOE for an upcoming exercise, the team happened to be in the area and was tasked to shift gears and build and execute an operation unrelated to the one they were working on. It required the team to interface with multiple entities, naval assets, and to brief high level individuals on short notice. Thier attention to detail and thorough professionalism allowed for a successful launch and recovery of an AUV system off a vessel of opportunity.
