As we approach Washington's Birthday, often referred to as Presidents' Day, we want to take a moment to reflect on the significance of this holiday. It is a day to honor the leadership and contributions of all who have served as president of the United States, shaping the course of our nation's history.

This day serves as a reminder of the principles of democracy, freedom, and public service that are the bedrock of our country. It's an opportunity to appreciate the leaders who have guided our nation through times of challenge and prosperity.

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'"

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, on which we not only recognize the life of Revered Dr. King, but also participate in his legacy through a national day of service. The memory of Rev. Dr. King's words and actions continues to challenge us to think beyond our individual roles and consider our impact on those around us, whether that be within our families, communities, or our nation.

Today and every day, may we remember to reflect on the lessons of Rev. Dr. King and let them spur us to action.
