📍JOINT EXPEDITIONARY BASE LITTLE CREEK - FORT STORY, Va.- The Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship namesake, USS Whidbey Island (L*D 41) held a decommissioning ceremony at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Va. on July 22 before its inactivation next month.
