I would like to thank our peer review team—Steve Sanderson, Assistant Director of Internal Audit for Chesterfield County, and Paul Geib, Chief Auditor for Milwaukee Public Schools—for conducting our review. Comings and Goings.

Please join us in welcoming Jeramy Marcelo, a rising senior at Old Dominion University, and Cole Villanueva, a rising junior at Virginia Commonwealth University, to our summer youth program.

We also wish Lori Williams the best of luck as she leaves our office to embark on a new career as a police officer recruit at the Virginia Beach Police Academy.👮🏻‍♀️

Audits are intended to shed a light and provide transparency on issues and more importantly to impact change. Glad to see that the VBDA is taking corrective action on the audit findings. To view this audit report and all others visit https://auditor.virginiabeach.gov.

A total of $1.9 million is needed for all of the structural repairs to buildings on the golf course property, and it will cost an additional $5.7 million to bring all 11 lakes up to standard.

Jessica (left) is a recent graduate of Princess Anne High School, while Sage (right) is currently studying at Southern New Hampshire University. Welcome ladies we look forward to having you as part of our team for the next six weeks.
