1173rd CTC had our annual Holiday Meal last weekend. We were able to have multiple stations set up with different vendors to give the Soldiers information about Tricare, education, family resources, etc. Our local FRG provided toys for Soldiers to take home for their families. 1173rd Leadership concluded this drill by serving our Soldiers a catered lunch.

A huge thank you to our FRG leader, Bo Mulcahy and 1LT Schwandt. They worked together to ensure this event was successful!

Seven Soldiers assigned to 1173rd CTC attended and graduated the Common Faculty Development - Instructor Course (CFD-IC) hosted by the 183rd RTI at Fort Barfoot, VA. The final project of this course was to give 50-minute presentation on topics of their choice. Chosen topics ranged from military tasks like zeroing on the M4A1 to sushi making.

Come out and support our very own 2021 Defending JBLE Flag Football Champions. 🏈 The 1173rd Team "Blackout" will take on the HHC Gladiators to kick off the 2022 Season tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1730. They will be playing at Kilpatrick Field on Ft. Eustis in front of Anderson Fieldhouse.

For the last 17 days soldiers completed lots of training including weapons PMI, drivers training, firing their assigned weapon at ranges, setting up drash tents, sleeping in the field, attending mandatory briefings, radio classes, MOPP training, had a promotion, and a fun beach day for MWR day. Good job 1173rd soldiers on a successful year at AT!
