We have had a lot of customers ask about the summer watering sign up. Since that credit comes off the sewer, it is up to the VSD on whether they were going to do it or not. We were shown this bill by a customer and we wanted to inform our customers that the VSD will not be doing the garden water credit program and if you have a pool, pool fill credit is good until June 1st. If you have any questions, you will need to contact the VSD.

The City of Virden Public works Department will be making the rounds to pick up brush as much as possible. We know there has been a lot of debris from the storms for the last couple days. The city just asks that you please stack any brush or limbs you would like picked up near the city side of the street in manageable pieces. Please only use alley ways if you are located on Springfield st. We appreciate the patience of the residents while we work on cleaning up.
