7th grade students in Mrs. Elkins’ class put their knowledge to the test yesterday with a fun game of Jeopardy! Students worked together, communicated their thinking, and applied what they’ve learned as they raced to answer questions and earn points.

🍬✖️ Sweet Math in Third Grade! ✖️🍬

Third grade made multiplication a little sweeter today! Students used Smarties to create arrays and then matched their arrays to the corresponding repeated addition and multiplication equations.

🏠🔢 There’s No Place Like… PLACE VALUE! 🔢🏠

Fourth grade took a “House Tour” to practice representing multi-digit whole numbers! Using Kagan strategies, students visited their “neighbors” and worked together to represent numbers in standard form, word form, expanded form, and place value.
