Tonight while on patrol a couple deputies with Benton County, Iowa Sheriff's Office spotted one of our younger residents with a mechanical issue. Thanks guys for helping them with the bicycle chain. Your good deeds do not go unnoticed.

As we come to a close of National Police Week 2026, we want to take a moment to thank the incredible men and women of the Benton County Sheriff's Office.
In a small county like ours, these individuals are more than just Law Enforcement Officers. They are neighbors, coaches, parents, friends, and the people who answer the call no matter the time of day. They show up every day with dedication, professionalism, compassion, and a genuine commitment to serving and protecting the citizens of Benton County.

We know they could choose to work anywhere, and we are grateful they chose to call the Benton County Sheriff’s Office home. Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the long hours, the difficult calls, and the care you show this community every single day. Benton County is lucky to have each and every one of you.
