These issues never become apparent to an average person and if they do, there is typically something very wrong. 12 years later, we have made some major improvements to the city's infrastructure but it is a never-ending issue, especially for older, historical cities such as Vine Grove. It's crucial for the city council to keep infrastructure at the forefront and never let things fall behind as we had a decade ago. This requires council members that are knowledgeable and persistent and not satisfied by addressing major problems with quick, easy fixes.

As a loan officer, my job is to evaluate the financials of a person or business to determine if they have the capacity to repay their debt. These are essentially the same types of decisions that have to be made by the city council. My work experience makes me uniquely qualified to make the financial decisions that impact all of our lives here in the city. Fiscal responsibility is something I take very seriously as a council member.
๐˜š๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ ๐˜‰๐˜ถ๐˜ด๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ด. My wife, Daryn-Rose, is the owner of The Blue Rose in downtown Vine Grove and she spearheaded the massively successful First Friday events. Events such as these are exactly what our town needs to kickstart small business activity. They are also great example of how the city can partner with businesses to support their success and development. I will always use my position as a council member to support small business because it is the backbone of our community.

This is the scene at James T Alton Middle School around 6:45 Election Day morning. It doesnโ€™t look like there are any parking spots left in the upper level. Hopefully that doesnโ€™t intimidate and only encourages every person to get out, exercise your right and VOTE!

Iโ€™ve shared these in the past but I think theyโ€™re worth sharing again. I donโ€™t have babies this tiny anymore but they are still my three favorite campaigners!

For a member of the city council, January is either time to make sure youโ€™ve filed as a candidate in the upcoming election, or with some luck, time to get sworn in for another term. Today marked the 13th straight January that I continued that tradition and filed to run for Vine Grove City Council. So, Iโ€™ll be dusting these old signs off again in a few months and will be ready to get out there. Thank you to everyone that has liked and followed this page and supported me in the past!
