Mike Mayes is our Artist of the Month for June. Mike is an illustrator who has wrote a children's book that he is hoping to get published someday. Mike feels that dealing with emotions through art makes it easier to express ourselves. Mike's advice - "We all have troubles and alot of people aren't sure how to deal with it, so pick up a pencil and a pad of paper. Just getting it out helps and sometimes acknowledgement is all it takes". Stop by the library to see Mike's illustrations and read excerpts from his book.
