Today is Election Day and I just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who has asked for a sign, a t-shirt, walked with me in a parade and expressed words of support.

I have enjoyed going door to door, meeting with many of you, learning your thoughts and expectations. I am proud to be a member of this great community. Knox County is truly the best place to live and raise a family.

If I am elected your next Knox County Sheriff I pledge to continue to listen and treat everyone with respect. I have the experience and knowledge to lead our sheriff’s office into the future. With solid ideas and proven leadership, I will ensure your Knox County Sheriff’s Office will continue to be the best.

Tomorrow I am asking you to please vote the right choice for Knox County. Please vote John Fuller for Knox County Sheriff.

The best way to lower the jail population which in turn lowers the costs of incarceration, saving taxpayers money is by lowering recidivism. Eighty percent of reoffending inmates return due to substance abuse. A great Peer resource program we currently have at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office is LIFT advocacy services. A big thank you to Laura Jimenez, the program manager for LIFT or Leading Individuals Forward Together, for all you do for our community.

Early voting is going to be available the next 2 Saturdays at these locations.
Remember to be cautious of candidates promising big changes. Big changes can cost big money and have even bigger consequences when they fail.
I believe in not fixing something that isn't broken. When something is working well, there's no need to change it just for the sake of change.
I also believe communication is key. I want to hear the thoughts and ideas of our deputies, jail staff, office staff, and most importantly, the citizens of Knox County. Strong communication between everyone helps us work together, serve better, and keep Knox County moving in the right direction.
If elected Knox County Sheriff, I Will continue to value what works, listen to the people who serve, and never forget who we all work for - you, the people of Knox County.
