Monarch Madness is getting closer, only 2 weeks away! Come out the Fox Ridge Nature Park, September 26, 2026 from 11am - 2pm, we will be tagging the Monarchs that you catch in an effort to better understand the health and migration of these beautiful butterflies. The event is free and open to the public, we will have everything you need to participate! Come join in the fun!

Mark your calendars for for Monarch Madness, September 26, 2026 at Fox Ridge Nature Park! This event is free and open to the public, no registration required. It is a family friendly event, and fun for all ages! The Knox County SWCD will be serving hot dogs, polish sausages, chips and drinks. Come out and enjoy the beautiful Nature Park, catch a butterfly or two to help two university's with their research and have lunch on us! See you there!
