Vincennes Community School Corporation will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Students and staff will return to school at the normal time on Tuesday, September 8.

❤️🫀 Learning About the Heart! 🫀❤️

Our fourth graders had an exciting, hands-on learning experience with Good Samaritan Hospital yesterday! Students participated in fun heart-themed activities that helped bring their learning to life.

As part of their first reading module, fourth grade students will be learning all about the heart and how it works. What better way to kick off their learning than with engaging activities from healthcare professionals!

A big thank you to Good Samaritan Hospital for helping our students make real-world connections and inspiring a love of learning! 📚❤️

Vincennes Community School Corporation will have an early dismissal tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1.

Franklin Elementary School will dismiss at 1:00pm.

Grandparent Breakfast invitations have been sent home with your child!

We are excited to welcome our grandparents to Franklin Elementary School for a special morning together! Grandparents will enjoy breakfast, book fair shopping, and time with their favorite little Viking.

☕Breakfast Includes:
🧁 Muffin
🧃 Juice / ☕ Coffee
📚 Book Fair Shopping

Each grade level will welcome grandparents on a separate day. A ticket is required for entry, so please complete and return the RSVP by Monday, August 31st.
