George Letts and Emily Bunyan lead the discussion of South of Broad by Pat Conroy for Mr. Carnegie's book club on Monday, 10/19. Tiffany Muranaka, Knox County Community Learning Kitchen, shared delicious Benne Wafers, from the novel, and delectables from a Charcuterie board.

Tonight (10/19) at 6 pm, Mr. Carnegie's Book Club will be discussing Pat Conroy's novel, "South of Broad". Emily Bunyan and George Letts will co host this discussion. It's going to be a great one!

Stop by and join a very fun group of folks and sample a freshly made southern cookie. Leopold "Leo" Bloom King made benne wafers (on his Mother's orders) and took them to the new neighbors. Wow, that day started amazing relationships that formed many of their lives. Come sample a benne wafer with us and let's talk about the book.

Next month's book on November 16th at 6 pm will be National Bestseller "Theo of Golden" by Allen Levi. Janie Haggard will be our host. This book will be available at tonight's meeting and a limited number of copies will be available at the circulation desk afterwards.

Remember, we are always accepting non-perishable food and hygiene items for those in our community who need them.

Library representatives attended Open House today at the Indiana Humanities office. It was originally the home of Indiana author, Meredith Nicholson.
