Last month, our Transitions students had an incredible workplace learning experience at TCMA! 💼
Participants learned how to navigate the Metro independently and built valuable job-applicable skills both in the classroom and through a hands-on workshop and tour of the TCMA kitchen.
Caleb, a transitions student, shared, “It is fun to get a chance to learn lots of cool stuff. It is also cool to see all the other people in my class learn and hear about what they are interested in.” 💜
Caleb also shared that the program has helped him prepare for interviews by learning skills like making eye contact, speaking clearly, and presenting himself professionally — skills that are already helping him at his current job site and will support him in future careers.
