Mayor Chad Emrick of Vienna, WV

Mayor Chad Emrick of Vienna, WV Mayor of the City of Vienna, WV I believe based on my background and experience, I’m the person to make that happen.

I am excited to announce my candidacy for the position of Mayor of my hometown and together I believe we can build a more vibrant community and create the kind of community where parents what to raise their children and tourists want to visit. I am proud to be a member of this community, and I am determined to ensure that Vienna remains an exceptional place to live, work, and raise a family. When

elected, I will make the following issues my top priorities:

1. Economic Development: I am committed to creating new job opportunities and supporting local businesses to help our town prosper. I will work tirelessly with business owners and community leaders to bring new investment and businesses to Vienna. Most importantly, I’ll work to recruit businesses that bring benefit to our residents. I want people to be able to shop at local businesses for their daily essentials, while at the same being able to shop in our community for big ticket items or things they want that they might otherwise turn to online retailers or drive to a larger community.

2. Infrastructure: Our town's infrastructure is the foundation for our community's success. I will ensure that our roads, bridges, and public utilities are well-maintained and up-to-date, and I will fight for the funding needed to make essential improvements.

3. Public Safety: The safety of our community is paramount. As Mayor, I will work closely with our police and fire departments to ensure that our town is secure and well-prepared for emergencies. I want a town where my children and your families feel safe and protected.

4. Community Engagement: A strong community is built on trust, communication, and collaboration. I will encourage all residents to get involved in community gatherings, official town meetings, or even stopping by the city offices to chat.

5. Finally, I think it's important to make sure the current employees of Vienna are empowered to do their jobs even better. We are so lucky to have dedicated city employees, but I think the current leadership sometimes fails to give them the tools they need to do their job effectively. Under my leadership, I believe they will be able to do their jobs better. I will bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the city, which will lead to new policies that benefit the city our employees. This renewed sense of energy and enthusiasm to the city, will boost morale among city employees and create a more positive work environment overall. Over twenty years of leadership in the military has taught how to effectively lead, and that people are happiest when their ideas are heard and considered. I believe this will also be true in our hometown. I am passionate about serving the people of Vienna with honesty, transparency, and integrity. Together, we can create a brighter future for our town. Thank you for your support, and I look forward to leading Vienna to even greater heights!
