United Christian Care Center of Vidor The primary mission of United Christian Care Center of Vidor is to provide hungry people with food.

The primary mission of the United Christian Care Center of Vidor is to assist low-income families in the Vidor area by providing free food to qualified individuals. The Christian Care Center is an all volunteer organization that is supported by donations from local churches, individuals, and grants. In addition to providing food, the Center has served as a distribution point for the Energy fan pro

gram. This program provided fans for low-income elderly and disabled individuals. If funds are available, the Care Center also provides school supplies at the beginning of the school year for 100 students and distributes holiday baskets to 300 families. A representative comes to the Care Center at least once a month to assist people in applying for food stamps. The Christian Care Center is currently open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00AM to noon and is located at 293 Wilson Street. Also, registration for assistance with school supplies for children in grades Pre-K through 8th grade in Vidor ISD is this afternoon from 12:30 to 2 pm. Just drive around to the back of the building and we will take your information. Proof of registration in Vidor ISD will be required.

Registration for assistance with school supplies for the 2026-27 school year will be Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 12:30 to 2 pm at the United Christian Care Center of Vidor. Drive around to the back of the building and we will do drive-through registration.

Registration is open to students in Vidor ISD from Pre-K through 8th grade. Proof of registration in Vidor ISD must be provided.
Supplies will be picked up on Tuesday, August 4, from 12:30 to 2 pm.
