Will it be love at first line? Stop by the library and check out the "Blind Date with a Book" activity from February 1st - 28th. Choose a book by reading only a short description and it's "pick-up" line. Read the entire book, rate your date, and earn a prize. Your name will also go into a drawing for a grand prize that will be drawn at the end of the month. There will be a separate drawing for students and staff, so everyone is encouraged to visit the library and see if you can make a love connection with a book!

Wow! I loved this book. This book is different than the first because it has several narratives instead of just June's. It filled in some gaps that the other books didn't tell us. Then, it told of what happened to bay Nicole and even further in the future. It was a perfect ending to a great series.

I was very excited to sit down and read this book, but it didn't impress me. I found that all of the short poems makes it hard to really get to know the characters. I love several of Holt's books. This just wasn't my favorite.

This book is an excellent sequel to the City of Embers. Typically, the second books lose the thrill and excitement. Not with this one. It has the same characters that we know and loves but they now go on a different adventure.

This book is a perfect dystopian book for young readers to start off with. It had just the right amount of futuristic aspects but wasn't too heavy. I would highly recommend this book to middle schoolers.

Ok, I'm someone that always tries to figure out the ending before I get to the end, but this book keeps me on my toes. I love that it was told through different people as well so that you could see where each person's head was during the investigation.

I really enjoyed this book, it was a fun way to look at one situation through several different points of view. It also was a good reminder that you never know what someone else might be going through, so try not to be quick to judge.

This is a biography about Elie and his time during a concentration camp during the holocaust. He survived it with his dad as they move camp to camp and the war keeps getting closer. He watches his mother get separated, survived multiple selections, and watches his father die while enduring the harsh conditions of the N***s.
