🖤🧡Oak Forest Annual Halloween Trick-or-Treating🖤🧡

Oakie families, just in case you didn’t see one of the notes that went home over the last few weeks, we wanted to send another reminder that our campus Trick-or-Treating event is happening on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. 🎃 Please note that this is not a parent event—it’s a fun, on-campus activity for our students. Students may wear their Halloween costumes, but no zombies, ghosts, scary costumes, gory/bloody makeup, or weapons are allowed (we don’t want to scare our littles).

🍬Also, we are still in great need of candy donations! 🍭 If you haven't sent any yet, we would greatly appreciate any candy donations you can send. We kindly ask that you DO NOT send candy with nuts/nut products for our students who may be allergic. Please send pre-wrapped candy to your child's teacher. The class with the most candy donated will receive an ice cream party! 🍦

We're looking forward to a great day! 🎃

Our halls were shining with BLACK & GOLD today as our Oakies showed off their Pirate pride! 💛🖤 From the school spirit to the beautiful mums and corsages, there was so much to celebrate!

We loved seeing everyone dressed up, showing out, and ready to cheer on our Pirates! 🏈🏴‍☠️ There's nothing quite like Homecoming in Pirate Country!

It's a great day to be a Pirate!

LET'S GO, PIRATES! 💛🖤🏴‍☠️

We’ve had several Little Oakies earn Positive Office Referrals! The students earn positive referrals for going above and beyond academically (ex. achieving an academic milestone, making significant growth, or meeting an individual goal). Congrats to these Little Oakies! We are so proud of you! 👏🎉

Mrs. Beall and Mrs. Maddox hosted their very own Homecoming parties to get their classes ready to cheer on our Pirates at the big homecoming game! 🏈🎉 What a special treat for their students! Nothing like a little classroom fun to get everyone in the full Pirate spirit!

🪩🎶 What a BUSY and FUN day at Oak Forest! ❤️🏴‍☠️

Our Oakies traveled through time for Decades Day, and we saw it ALL! From the groovy ’50s to the swinging ’60s, disco ’70s, totally rad ’80s, ’90s, and even the 2000s, our students showed off decades of style! 🕺💃✨

Our Kindergarteners celebrated the 50th day of school with a root b**r float!

🏈📣 We also had some special visitors! The Vidor Junior High School band, cheerleaders, Brigettes, and twirlers hosted their annual Homecoming pep rally for our Oakies! 🎺🥁 What a fun way to get excited for Homecoming!

💛🖤 And the fun didn’t stop there! Our Vidor High School football players, cheerleaders, and Brigs joined us for lunch with our coloring contest winners! What a special treat for our students!

🏴‍☠️ TOMORROW IS HOMECOMING! 💛🖤 We can’t wait to see our Oakies decked out in full Pirate spirit and showing off all that BLACK AND GOLD! 💛🖤

Let’s finish Red Ribbon Week with lots of Pirate pride! LET’S GO, PIRATES! 🏴‍☠️💛🖤
