Meals on Wheels South Texas serves area seniors 60 and over with delivered and congregate meals. Reserve a spot at our Connection Café for onsite lunch Monday-Friday and Tuesday/Thursday BINGO; please call 361-576-2189. Transportation services are available for trips to care appointments and local errands within Victoria city limits. We offer additional services to clients, including pet assistanc

e and a Friendly Caller program. Activities, health screenings and clinics, lectures, and information sessions are offered at our senior center.

Today, Meals on Wheels South Texas pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders, service members, families, and countless Americans whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the strength, compassion, and spirit of service that emerged in the days and years that followed.

At MOWSTX, we believe service is about caring for our neighbors, showing up for one another, and helping those who need us most. Today, we honor all those who answered the call with courage, sacrifice, and compassion.

A meal can fill a plate, but community support can fill a whole week with nourishment and connection. That's the idea behind everything we do at Meals on Wheels South Texas.

Eligible clients receive five home-delivered meals each week, 52 weeks a year, and our menus are developed with a registered dietitian so each meal covers at least a third of the daily nutrients an older adult needs.

You may be wondering: what does a donation actually support? Meals first, then the caring check-ins that come with every delivery, and the programs that help seniors stay healthier and more independent in their own homes across Victoria, DeWitt, and Goliad Counties.
