When emergencies happen, preparation makes all the difference, and that’s where this role comes in. As our Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Strategic National Stockpile Coordinator, Ralph helps ensure Victoria County is ready to respond to disasters, outbreaks, and unexpected events.

He serves as a key liaison between the Public Health Department and the Victoria Office of Emergency Managementt (VOEM), helping strengthen coordination and response efforts across agencies. 🐰 Hopping out of town this Easter weekend? Make sure your car is as ready as the Easter Bunny’s basket!
🚗 Check your oil, tires, and emergency kit before you hit the road, because even bunnies don’t want a breakdown detour.

A weekend cold front brings increased rain chances to S TX. Confidence is increasing with a 50-70% chance for greater than 1" of rain, and a 20-40% chance for greater than 2". Soils are very dry and will be able to soak up a lot of the rainfall, but any is desperately needed! South Texas is in a marginal risk for flash flooding Saturday and into Sunday.
