Mississippi Deputy Sheriff's Association Formed in 1972, chartered as a non-profit organization with the MS. Secretary of State in 1984.

By our Associations By Laws; the MDSA is organized for the purpose beneficial to the general public and its members having the primary objective as follows:
(a) To form and perpetuate an efficient organization of Deputy Sheriff's throughout the State of Mississippi. (b) To advocate and strive for close communication with all Governmental Agencies and Public Officials. (c) To promote increased bene

fits and protection for Deputy Sheriff's of the State of Mississippi. The membership shall consist of all recognized Deputy Sheriff's within the State of Mississippi, Auxiliary Deputy Sheriff's, Reserve Deputy Sheriff's, Retired Deputy Sheriff's and Full or Part Time employees of the Sheriff's Department and supporters of Law Enforcement
