Session 4 of 7 is complete and our ROW Department is now chain saw safety certified! Thank you to MDOT for the continued partnership and for helping us keep our workforce educated on the proper ways to use a chainsaw. These free courses have been a great help to getting work done more efficiently.

Beginning Tuesday, September 15, FREE Adult Education classes will be offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the Warren County–Vicksburg Public Library.

Classes will include:

✅ High School Equivalency preparation
✅ Reading, writing, and math skills
✅ Workforce readiness
✅ ACT WorkKeys preparation
✅ Individual tutoring and support

Whether you want to strengthen your skills, continue your education, or prepare for new career opportunities, personalized support will be available to help you reach your goals.

The City of Vicksburg is proud to support the City-Wide Prayer Gathering, an evening dedicated to bringing our community together in prayer, fellowship, and unity.

The event will feature community vendors, fellowship, and a Community Choir. Everyone is welcome to come together as we pray for our city, our families, and our community. ❤️

It is always an honor to be out in the community with the people! On Friday, my office partnered with the City of Vicksburg Senior Center for the annual fish fry! We had a great time with our seniors as always!

On Saturday, I was honored to help the ladies of AKA unveil their new rose garden in downtown Vicksburg!
