The goal of using Facebook by the Vicksburg Warren School District (VWSD), including all of the schools in the District and teachers or sponsors associated with those schools, is to share important information with our public. To help us accomplish this goal we ask that you abide by the following guidelines:

-Engage in open conversation not personal issues. This page is not in

tended to circumvent regular communication channels for sharing personal issues and concerns. Comments regarding a personal issue with the District, a school or staff member will be removed.

-Be respectful. Personal attacks or comments that are deemed offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed.

-Stay on topic. This is a page dedicated to the education of students in the VWSD. Let's keep the conversation related to our District, schools and activities. Comments of all kinds are welcome so long as they relate to our District, schools and activities.

-Have a question for a specific employee? Fans should not expect responses to every question or comment posted on this page.

-Be aware of the mission. The mission of the VWSD is education. Please be certain that your comments are appropriate for an educational environment and fans of all ages.

-Be factual. Blatantly inaccurate information will not be allowed. False information will be removed and factual information will be posted.

-We want you to feel comfortable sharing your views about the VWSD schools or activities. Just know, abuse of the above guidelines can lead to removal of a specific posting or the blocking/removal from our fan page.

Important Update: Summer Meal Box Pickup Location Change

If you registered to pick up meal boxes from Vicksburg Intermediate School, your pickup location has changed. Beginning June 9, you will pick up your Summer Meal Boxes at Vicksburg High School for the remainder of the program.

Dates: Tuesdays - June 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2026
Time: 9:00 - 10:00 AM

FRAMEWORK IN ACTION-Summer Meal Box Pickup Information

If your child is registered for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), it’s almost time to pick up your Summer Meal Boxes!

Pickup Time: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Pickup Location: Only at the site where your child is registered.

Please review the pickup instructions and location details before arriving. To help ensure a smooth process:

• Follow staff directions upon arrival
• Be prepared to provide the names of registered children
• Arrive during the scheduled pickup window
• Make sure your vehicle has enough space for meal boxes

Thank you for helping us provide healthy meals to our students all summer long.
