Fisher Ferry Water will start our annual chlorine burn as required by the Ms. State Dept. Of Health, starting Tuesday, June 9, 2026. We will be draining our water tanks and flushing the waterlines to switch over our water from Monochloramines to Chlorine. This will take us all week and maybe into next week to completely turn the system over. We plan to stay on chlorine for June and July.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR WATER EVERY DAY for clarity over the next week, before using for drinking, cooking and washing clothes, especially white and light colored clothes. If discolored water is found, turn your COLD Water faucet on and let it run for a few minutes until clear. You ARE NOT UNDER A BOIL WATER NOTICE, the water is safe to drink.

Cutoffs for past due balances will be Wednesday morning, May 13, 2026. If you have not already paid your balance IN FULL, you can put them in any of our drop boxes BEFORE 9 am Wednesday morning. *Just a reminder, the FULL BALANCE must be paid to avoid cutoff.* If you need to know your amount due, please call the office at 601-636-1098. Fisher Ferry Water District was formed in 1966 to serve areas in south Warren County Mississippi that did not have a central water system. The area currently served is along Halls Ferry and Fisher Ferry Road areas and is approximately 34 square miles. We currently have over 1700 connections and .....

Thursday, March 5, 2026- water will be off for customers that live on Fisher Ferry Road- starting at Azalea Trace Apartments on both sides of the road to River Point Dance Studio. Our contractor will be making the connection to the new water line.
We Plan to turn the water off around 10:00 a.m. and will be off until the connections are made- several hours. No boil water notice will be in effect, as the waterline has already been tested and approved by the Health Dept. If we have a good phone number for you- you will get an automated phone call this afternoon. Managers and Owners of the Apartment complexes have been notified.
