Join the Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce, the Heritage Guild of Vicksburg & Warren County, Mississippi Arts Commission, and community partners as we celebrate the official unveiling of "In the Key of Freedom", a stunning new public art installation at Washington Street Park!

Created by acclaimed artist Kevin Caron, this unique sculpture connects culture, memory, freedom, and music. Constructed from powder-coated aluminum and steel, the artwork features a sound element that introduces the blues through 12 tones, honoring the traditional 12-bar blues structure. Visitors will experience the sculpture through both sight and sound while reflecting on Vicksburg's important role in history and American music.
