Explore art in a whole new way this summer in downtown Vicksburg!

Students from Western Michigan University’s Kinetic Imaging program have created nine original Augmented Reality (AR) artworks featured throughout downtown. Simply scan the QR codes posted at the designated signs with your phone to unlock immersive digital art, animation, video, sound, and more—no app or registration required!

This free interactive art walk is available now through September 8. Come experience the intersection of art and technology right here in the heart of downtown Vicksburg.

🌧️ **BURG Days of Summer – Event Cancellation Notice** 🌧️

Due to the forecasted probability of heavy thunderstorms and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our attendees, vendors, performers, volunteers, and staff, **BURG Days of Summer scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026, has been cancelled.**

All planned activities, live music, food trucks, games, and hands-on arts experiences for June 17 will not take place.

While we're disappointed to miss a night of summer fun in downtown Vicksburg, the safety of our community remains our top priority.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, selflessness and dedication will never be forgotten.

In observance of the holiday, Village of Vicksburg offices will be closed Monday, May 25. Regular office hours will resume Tuesday.
