The United Way of West Central Mississippi extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported Caffeine for a Cause with 7 Brew. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised an amazing $10,401.56 to help advance our mission of improving lives and strengthening communities across West Central Mississippi.

Every dollar raised helps support programs and partnerships that focus on education, financial security, lifelong literacy, community resilience and youth opportunity. Your participation demonstrates the power of a community coming together to create lasting change.

We are especially grateful to our friends at 7 Brew and to every customer, volunteer, and supporter who made this event a success. Because of you, we can continue working toward a future where everyone in our community has the opportunity to thrive.

What an incredible example of what happens when a community comes together! ❤️

Thanks to the generosity of our community, volunteers, postal carriers, schools, and partners, this year’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive collected an amazing 21,274 pounds of food....that’s more than 10 TONS!

To put that into perspective, 10 tons weighs about the same as:
🐘 Two adult African elephants
🚌 A fully loaded school bus
🚚 Four pickup trucks combined

In addition, the Kimmy Melton Canned Food Drive through the Vicksburg Warren School District collected another 8,386 pounds of food!

Together, nearly 30,000 pounds of food will help stock shelves and support multiple agencies serving families facing food insecurity throughout our community.

We are beyond thankful for every volunteer, donor, student, postal worker, and community partner who helped make this possible. Your support is helping provide hope, meals, and relief to families across West Central Mississippi.

Because when we come together, United is the Way.

Thank you to United Way for celebrating their annual Day of Caring by donating boxes of books to our upper elementary and junior high students!

We are so excited to share these wonderful gifts with our kids and continue fostering a love of reading across our Flashes Family. Your generosity is making a difference, one book at a time.
