Kimm, along with her husband James and their five children live in the Vicksburg School District. All five of their children have attended VCS with three currently still enrolled at Vicksburg High School. Kimm has dedicated her life to her children, coaching and the healthcare field. She has served in community health, mental health and emergency medicine roles. Kimm feels passionately about being an advocate for students and their parents collaboratively working together toward their educational goals. Kimm will bring over 14 years of medical background, leadership and teamwork skills to the board. Upon being elected to VCS Board of Education; Kimm’s first priorities are providing transparency between the Board of Education, administration, parents and the community. Kimm also wants to work collectively with the high school, administration and the Board of Education to develop a program for students who desire to find involvement with trade careers and training in the community. Meghan is a Stay at Home Mom who also assists her husband administratively with his career. Together they have three children; two of whom currently attend Vicksburg Community Schools. Meghan has spent countless hours volunteering through the schools and local sports programs. Meghan feels passionately about removing the disconnect from the school board to the community and vice versa. She wants better transparency and more effective channels of communication throughout the administration. Meghan is excited to bring her strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills to the seat!
