Today, A Group of Concerned Citizens would like to honor and celebrate the grandparents in our community. ❤️

Grandparents are often the storytellers, the caregivers, the encouragers, the protectors, and the steady presence that helps hold families together. Many grandparents sacrifice their time, energy, resources, and even their own needs to make sure their children and grandchildren are okay.

Today, we see you. We appreciate you. We thank you. ❤️

To every grandparent who shows up, checks in, gives advice, prepares a meal, offers a safe place, wipes a tear, tells a story, says a prayer, or simply gives a loving hug — your presence matters more than you may ever realize.

And to those grandparents who are no longer with us, your love and legacy continue through the generations you helped shape. 🕊️

Let's take a moment today to call a grandparent, hug a grandparent, check on a grandparent, or simply tell them, "I appreciate you."

Honoring Fallen Deputy Terrian Bailey 🕊️🖤

A Group of Concerned Citizens extends our deepest condolences to the family, loved ones, and colleagues of Deputy Terrian Bailey, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty in Port Gibson.

We stand in solidarity with the Claiborne County Sheriff's Department and our entire neighboring community as we mourn the loss of a dedicated public servant. We are forever grateful for Deputy Bailey's service, courage, and ultimate sacrifice.

Please join us in keeping Deputy Bailey’s family and his fellow brothers and sisters in law enforcement in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
