Vici Public School students, faculty and administration will participate in this year's College App Week during the week or September 14-18th, 2026. What is College App Week?

The primary goal of College App Week is to encourage more high school seniors, especially those who haven't considered attending college and those from first generation college-going families, to apply and establish relationships with colleges and universities that will hopefully lead to enrollment.

Vici Academic Counselor, Miss Watkins, has planned activities for all students. In addition to a week filled with dress-up days to spark interest in students of all levels, Vici seniors will apply to colleges of their choice during this week. Miss Watkins has also scheduled times in the coming weeks for college representatives to meet with seniors at school. Miss Watkins also has shared a great website with seniors that will allow them to take virtual tours of college campuses. Seniors can go to https://www.thecollegetour.com/ to take a virtual tour of colleges across the United States and listen to real stories from attending students.

Vici Schools is so proud to congratulate our own Rylie Watkins who was crowned the 2026 Junior Miss Fairest of the Fair tonight in Taloga! Rylie, a 7th grade student at Vici, performed a dance to “Angels Among Us” for her talent.
One of the pageant emcees was our own Senior Raquel Todd, who just completed her reign as the 2025 Fairest of the Fair!
Vici also had several, BEAUTIFUL, Little Miss Fairest of the Fair participants! Great job, ladies!
And congratulations Rylie!

VES MONTHLY TEACHER SPOTLIGHT!
Each month, we'll be highlighting one of the educators who teach and love our elementary students. We'll share a little about them, their families, hobbies, and some of their favorite snacks in case you'd like to help us celebrate them as well!
The Vici Elementary Teacher Spotlight for September is Miss Kathryn Fenton!
Mrs. Fenton is in her third year of teaching 3rd Grade at VES! Her favorite holiday is Christmas, and her favorite snacks include "Popcorn, Doritos, Peanut Butter M&Ms, and Sour Patch Kids. Miss Fenton's go-to drinks are Dr. Pepper, Hazelnut Ice Latte, and Iced Peppermint Mocha.
We are so thankful to have Miss Fenton as part of our VES family!
