❗️🛑❗️🛑❗️

Due to high water levels and current river conditions, we will unfortunately no longer be able to hold the kayaking activity on Monday, June 1.

As a result, Junior Staff who had planned to participate in kayaking will no longer need to arrive at camp at 11:00 AM. Instead, please plan to arrive at Camp Higher Ground at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 1.

After checking in with your 4-H Educator and getting settled into your cabins, dinner will still be served at 6:00 PM as originally planned.

I know many of you were looking forward to kayaking. I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we adjust plans to ensure everyone’s safety.

We look forward to seeing everyone at camp!

The day included Trap, S***t and 12 stations of Sporting Clays, 6 hour day of shooting 150 shells.

Even with him feeling under the weather, a sporadic lightning delay, rain and his first shotgun competition to boot, he did amazing.
