Thanks to all our lovely patrons who came out to cook together this past Monday! They did a great job working together to get these recipes assembled and then taste test. We hope to have another Cook the Book program in August.

The Switzerland County Public Library is hiring a part-time Page. Must be age 15 or older. This is a grant-funded position specifically for high school students, so applicants must currently enrolled in high school or homeschooled. Duties will include shelving and organizing library materials and assisting with other library activities. Hours will mainly be evenings and Saturdays and will vary from 6-10 hours per week. Applications are available at the library at 205 Ferry St. and will be accepted through May 29, 2026.

The Switzerland County Public Library is accepting bids to replace the HVAC system in our building at 205 Ferry St. Vevay, IN. Submit bids to Emily Lipczynski in person at 205 Ferry St., via email to [email protected], or fax to 812-427-3654. Must be able to provide proof of liability insurance. Specifications are available upon request.
Bids are due by 5:00 pm on June 5, 2026.
