Young Business Leaders (YBL) is an organization whose purpose is to reach businessmen and professionals and to offer the tools and environment that facilitate holistic growth. We accomplish this by providing venues such as banquets, small group opportunities and one-on-one contacts with proven and established leaders. YBL’s impact is primarily accomplished by helping men live a life that finds a balance between their work, their families, and their friends. Mondays can feel heavy. The emails stack up, the meetings fill the calendar, and it’s easy to step into the week already tired or discouraged.

But you’re not walking into your workplace alone today.

God’s presence goes with you into every meeting, every decision, and every hard conversation. The office, the jobsite, the boardroom — these are not places where faith has to be quiet. They are some of the main places your faith is actually lived.

Joshua 1:9 reminds us:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

So as you start this week:

💡 Ask the Lord for strength and courage for the work in front of you today.

💡 Remember that your calling is not just where you work, but how you walk with Christ in that work.

💡 Look for one moment to encourage someone around you with the hope you have in Him.

2026 YBL Fall Breakfast: Faithful Men, Strong Communities

• Speaker: Alton Hardy, author and founder of Manifold Vision

Alton Hardy is an author, speaker, and leader. He is pastor of Urban Hope Community Church in Fairfield, Alabama and the Director of Manifold Vision, a nonprofit committed to transforming neglected urban areas by building churches and transforming the entire community through building men, one relationship and family at a time.

Alton Hardy has had a challenging path. However, in his story are seeds of hope: a way through a difficult childhood, harsh experiences, racism, and significant barriers. Through long perseverance and a startling providence, Alton has become a leader, builder, and father figure to many. Join us at the YBL Fall Breakfast to hear a story that speaks to anyone navigating struggle, searching for direction, or hoping for something more.
