Introducing the PALS Pumpkin Patch! 🍂

Get ready for free fall fun! Join us for the PALS Pumpkin Patch and enjoy an unforgettable day packed with incredible activities. Pick out and decorate a pumpkin, enjoy fresh popcorn, play the book walk, and let the kids bounce the day away in the bounce house!

While you're there, grab a sweet treat from the Alsies Ice Cream Truck! 🍨 A portion of the sales will go directly to PALS (People Affecting Library Success), our Junior Library Board.

Grab your favorite bookworm and join us for one or all of our fun storytimes each week at the library.

Dolly Parton was a force for good. 💖

She'll be remembered for many things, but we're so thankful for her contribution to libraries and literacy. She inspired millions of readers by sending beautiful books to children and families all over the world. If you have a child who is under the age of 5, sign up to receive books through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. It's free and available in every county in Alabama.

Thank you, Dolly, for loving books and loving us. We will always love you, too.

We can't wait! ✨ ONE MORE WEEK!
We've been working hard to get the children's department ready for a new year of fun programs. Starting September 1, we'll have a little something for everyone (and for almost every day of the week). Come sing and read and learn and play with us at the library! 📚

Introducing PALS PICKS! Our Junior Library Board (aka PALS) Library in the forest PALS are volunteers who sustain and support the children’s department. Now they will be sharing some of their favorite books with us!

Heather, our Vice President of PALS, shared some back to school books that will have you and your kids ready for a new year of learning, growth, and friendship. Come check out her recommendations and more at the library!
