Good morning Woodford County. We are hoping you all have made it through this round of storms unscathed but if you did end up with tree debris, we will be taking that for free from WC residents until further notice. This is not offered to contractors or businesses. If you are a business or a contractor, you will still have to pay the .05 cents per pound for dropping off your debris.

The Woodford County Courthouse and all County Government offices, buildings and facilities will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC, Tuesday, January 27, 2026 due to the Winter Storm, severe weather and hazardous conditions. Woodford County remains under a declared state-of-emergency.

This includes Solid Waste / Recycling.

UPDATE FROM RUMPKE!!!

Keeping the safety of our team members, our customers and the motoring public first, Rumpke Waste & Recycling will suspend trash and recycling collection for Monday, Jan. 26, throughout central and eastern Kentucky.

Rumpke plans on operating on a one-day delay the remainder of the week, as road conditions and weather allow. Monday customers will be collected on Tuesday, and Tuesday customers on Wednesday, and so on, with Friday customers collected on Saturday.
