There's still some room in the public input portion of the Summit and still time to sign up! The Summit is Tuesday, September 15th!

We welcome your input!

🚗The City of Versailles is holding a Transportation Summit on Tuesday, September 15, to share ideas and solutions for better road connectivity, efficiency, and safety as we project our community's needs 5-10 years (and longer) in the future. Motorized and non-motorized modes of transportation are both on the table. Invitees include transportation and traffic experts, but I thought it was important to open the Summit with public input.

💡If you have a traffic or transportation-related idea or suggestion to present, please call or email me (see flyer), and I'll schedule you for a 5-minute time slot. The Summit begins at 9 am, and public input will begin after opening remarks, so about 9:15. You may leave after you present or stay to listen!

The next regular meeting of the Versailles City Council will be held Tuesday, September 15th at 5:30pm at City Hall, 196 South Main Street, Versailles. Public attendance is always welcome! The meeting will be live streamed here on Facebook.

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed by that tragic day.

We honor the innocent lives lost, the brave first responders who ran toward danger, the heroes who served, and the families who continue to carry their memories.

May we never forget their courage, their sacrifice, and the unity that brought our nation together.

The 25th Annual Twilight Festival, hosted by the Woodford County Chamber Of Commerce, is happening THIS SATURDAY, September 12th, from 12PM–9PM!🎉

Come experience everything Twilight has to offer. From one-of-a-kind finds and local vendors to a huge selection of food vendors, 3 stages of entertainment, and a massive Kids Zone!

And make sure you spend some time on AG ROW - where it all started!🌾

Ag Row is your chance to shop directly from local farmers and producers, connect with the people who grow and raise the food that makes its way to our tables, and support the agricultural roots of our community.

Know where your food is coming from and who is putting it on your table.❤️ There’s something special about buying local and knowing the farmers behind what you feed your family.

The power is out for many folks in Versailles this evening, particularly downtown. Best information we have is that a tree limb hit a power line / transformer on S Main near Berry Ave. A KU or one of their contractor's trucks is working on it now.

Happy Labor Day from the City of Versailles!🇺🇸

City offices are closed today, Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

We’ll reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, September 8th, from 8AM – 5PM.
